I have for sale my very loved, cared for and stunning BMW i8 in limited edition Protronic RED, which is 1 of 14 in the UK. The car itself wants for nothing as it was only just serviced and MOTD by BMW on April 17th so it is a full 12 months before it needs MOTd again. With it being the protronic RED edition, it has limited edition 19" wheels (not a mark on them) which are shed with Pirelli P zero tyres,all of which have plenty of tread on them. In addition, the interior has exposed carbon fiber weave throughout along with ceramic inlays on the gear selector and iDRIVE control - these set it apart from the standard i8s. I truly believe you will not find a better i8 in the country. The red paintwork is blemish free and is professionally waxed every year with some kind of ceramic number, car shines like a real shiny thing. If you are a fan of the game Gran Tursimo, then you are in for a treat as this actual car was the car that was scanned and mapped which was then used in the game, I have the paperwork from the previous owner to back this up. I currently get 56mpg over an 80 mile commute, this involves 20 miles EV and 60 miles iCE, so it is a very very economical car that can still propel you to a limited speed of 155mph. The insurance is very good, I am 52 years young and it costs me a little over 220 pa and the tax on the car has recently went up from 0 to 20 so all in all a stunning looking car and very little cost to run. The car has full service history which has always been carried out by BMW, history can be seen in the photos. No dings, dents or anything untoward with the car and any inspection/car vertical check is welcomed. Bit of a story to the car, it was purchased as I was mid divorce and my son and I decided it would be nice to get something that wasn't an estate car so hence the i8 was purchased, fast forward 4 years now very happily divorced and I now a beautiful 11 month old baby daughter.. well you guessed it, here comes the estate . So the i8 must go. I truly believe that you will not find a nicer once in the country. It currently has a private registration plate on the car, this will be removed prior to sale, unless someone wants to make me an offer on it over and above the car price. I am close to Edinburgh airport (30 mins) so if you are coming from down south to view/purchase I can look to pick you up at the airport.
