This is my second MG5 and both have been excellent. A joy to drive, extremely comfortable and so inexpensive to run. A full charge only cost just over five pounds but I tend to keep topping up the batteries and have rarely needed a full charge. The MG5 has an excellent turn of speed but I am content to stick at 65 mph on motorways and dual carriages hence during the warmer weather I get above the book range of 235 but most of my motoring is local. The vision all around is very good and is assisted by 360 degree camera. The MG5 was the first electric estate on the market and has been a great success. The boot space is really good and there are ample storage spaces in the front too. There can be no doubting the sound quality. I normally play music through my smartphone but the DAB is excellent. I am rather old fashioned and much prefer to be in charge of the car but for those who want it there is a wide range of safety features, emergency breaking, lane control etc. I do make good use of cruise control and auto headlight dip. During the cold winter months the seat warming provision is effective although I rarely make use of it. Probably enough waffle and if you do have any questions please do get in touch. Age is catching up and I am selling the car in order to downsize. The car is not yet two years old and the MG comprehensive warranty remains with the car for over five years (or 80k miles).
