I've owned this BMW for 17 years. It's given me years of trouble free driving pleasure. Garaged all winters. Summer holiday use only. (Yes I'm retired/writer.) I've addressed the main 2 issues with these models with preventative maintenance: 1) The subframe rear axle carrier has been professionally reinforced by BMW UK. 2) SMG2 pump has been refurbished. Has recently had all 4 Bilstein shock absorbers replaced. Vast improvement. Drives exactly like it should. No accidents, low owners, no right offs, no finance, no dodgy jiggery-pokery. Cosmetic upgrades: BMW CSL Alicante flat bottom steering wheel. Dynavin GPS maps head unit stereo with upgraded surround speakers. Heads up display unit. Front splitter. (It's had a few curb grazes so you'd probably want to refresh/remove/renew it). It just passed the MOT 1st of may 2026 with flying colors. These are original 95k miles as can be evidenced by Full Service History and MOT records. These low miles have been done cruising on summer holidays in the UK and Europe. They are long-leg highway miles, not stop/start driving miles hard won in cities. Hence the cars immaculate condition as can be seen in the showroom photos when it was just professionally detailed. (No it's not that clean right now) Stored in dry/locked garage since the pandemic. I am currently doing a leisurely tour of the south coast of England. These low milage original M3's are steadily going up in value... so it basically provides year-after-year free motoring if you keep it long-term.
