Car is currently not running. It's recently had 4 new tyres, new full exhaust, rear brake pads and disks, I've changed the oil for 5w40 and new oil filter only a week ago. Car was running fine until Mrs drove it to work and it cut out on her. Had it recovered to a garage and no fault codes showing. Went to garage later and it started straight away. Again Mrs drove it shopping and cut out again on her and recovered again. This time it won't start. Seems like an intermittent fault that has developed into something more permanent. I've cleaned both vanos sensors and they are perfect, I've cleaned both cam sensors too. Car turns over fine just doesn't fire, rpm needle moves so cam sensor does work. I don't know much about these engines but if a specialist on these prince engines may be able to get to the root problem easier than me. I haven't got the time to be spending on it to fix. Before it cut out it was running perfect no chain slap or nasty noises. Like I say someone who has the time to fix, maybe something small to change or has this problem before may get a decent car out of it.
