2006 Porsche Cayman S (987.1) | Manual | Blue 98,200 miles MOT: July 2026 Lovely Cayman S with 997 Turbo wheels. It is in great condition for a car of this age and has clearly been cared for. A bore scoring inspection was carried out a few years ago and I have the paperwork for this. Before I bought the car I spoke to someone who used to rebuild Porsche engines and he confirmed that the IMS bearing had already been addressed and modified to allow better oil lubrication. He said this is a very good sign for long term reliability. There are no current signs of bore scoring. No unusual smoke and no excessive oil use. Did an oil change a few months ago and its never needed a top up while ive had it. Only other thing i had done was wheel alignment. Mechanically the car is spot on and everything works as it should. Inside the heating control toggles are worn but I have brand new replacements ready to fit. The previous owner had an issue with the original head unit and replaced it with another factory unit which showed an error message. I was told a bypass loop would fix it but I decided to fit an aftermarket unit instead. When I finally went to listen to music properly I found that the door speakers need replacing. I have ordered DAVINCI speakers from SCR and have a passenger window regulator ready to fit. I thought I'd do both jobs myself at the same time, and I have been meaning to sort for a while, but I simply have not had the time. I originally planned to upgrade my main car for something comfortable and fuel efficient as I have a 120 mile daily commute. I sold my Nissan 370z and somehow ended up buying my childhood dream car instead, so I was stuck with a horrible daily driver. Finally bought myself a CLS350 and i cant afford to keep both cars and save up for a wedding, hence sale. Better weather means i can have more daylight time to change the regulator and speakers, as well as some better photos in the dry. A quick sale would be ideal so I am open to offers.
