Description

A well presented and increasingly desirable 2001 Porsche Boxster S finished in Lapiz Blue over Savannah interior, with a glass rear windscreen. The car also benefits from a fresh detail with a roof re-colour and waterproofing. Purchased in 2023 from Torque Boxsters in Surrey - a well repspected Porsche Boxster specialist for 8400 GBP. Prior to which it had a suspension refresh and IMS bearing replacement. I have since spent 10000 GBP on upgrades and improvements within my ownership. Not including service/parts. This car has been well cared for and has a very comprehensive service history, being fully serviced every year - even only covering 2k miles on average each year. Last month it also had 2 new front inner track rods, along with a front wheel realignment (this was even after I knew I was going to sell the car). Within my ownership (in addition to annual servicing) it has had a full wheel refurbishment to the Porsche Classic Sport II BBS wheels - having the outer rims diamond cut and the centres painted in Porsche Aurium Gold (completed at Lepsons Alloy Wheel Refurbishement in Gillingham) and shod in Pirelli P Zero tyres which were new in 2023 and are in fantastic condition with plenty of tread remaining. It is also currently running 15mm wheel spacers on the rear and 5mm wheel spacers on the front - an original optional spec back in 2001. It has had a full strip, respray and lacquer of the brake callipers (something that most Boxsters of this age will be suffering with). I have had a new Sony head unit installed with wireless Apple carplay and Andriod auto, along with new dash speakers to replace the old and worn out originals. It has also had the rear and side lights changed from the original orange spec that of the newer models, to give it a more modern look (I still have the originals). The airconditioning system works, however there is currently a leak in the pipe that runs along the underside of the car - due to age and being in a position that means thye are often hit by stones. I tried to have the leak repaired but unsuccesfully - which was evidence when I tried to have it regassed last month. As such this now needs replacing but I just haven't got around to doing it. The paint is in an overall good condition for the age with no rust. It is supplied with 2 original keys, advisory free MOT (April 2027), original book packs and manuals, and the private reg plate - overall a very well presented example of a popular modern classic.
