Description

2019 Peugeot 3008 1.5 BlueHDi automatic Allure, 65,670 miles, MOT until 24 May 2026. Owned by me from new: originally my company car, later purchased by me when I left the company. This Allure was ordered with the optional heated, electrically adjustable driver's seat with massage function. This was selected after occupational health/ergonomic assessments due to back problems, so it is a particularly comfortable spec. Early servicing was carried out by Peugeot main dealer Marshalls in Gillingham Business Park. Later servicing was carried out by Auto-Trend in Chatham. Until recently the car always ran very well. Recent work includes a new battery fitted in March 2026, plus Peugeot/Stellantis main dealer diagnostic and repair work in April. This included diagnostics, compression/leak-off testing, replacement of one injector, glow plug-related work, and full replacement of the front and rear brake discs and pads. I have invoices and diagnostic history available. The car starts and drives. There are currently no dashboard warning lights showing and no overheating currently observed. Please note: this vehicle is being offered as spares/repairs/project due to unresolved engine/running issues. Previously it had coolant loss and overheating. In March 2026 it developed rough running/misfire, along with white smoke/smell after a few minutes of driving. Since the recent Peugeot/Stellantis work, the smoke/smell appears greatly reduced or even absent (resolved), but there is still a noticeable misfire/jerkiness while driving. I was advised that a further injector-related issue had been detected. Having already spent over 2,000 recently, exceeding my intended budget, I have decided not to continue further diagnosis or repair myself. We now have an electric car and no longer really need a second vehicle, so this is being offered as a project for someone better placed to investigate and complete the repair. No accident damage other than one small low-speed parking bump which cracked the rear bumper trim, shown in photos. Sold strictly as spares/repairs/project with no warranty implied or given. Inspection strongly recommended before purchase. Buyer to satisfy themselves as to condition. Collection from Gillingham, Kent.
