Description
A very honest and original example of the iconic Land Rover Defender 90, finished in Green with a contrasting white roof and powered by the reliable Td5 engine.
Under the bonnet is the well-known 2.5-litre turbo diesel engine paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. The vehicle is largely original and unmodified, apart from upgraded suspension springs and improved headlamps.
It sits on the original alloy wheels fitted with BF Goodrich tyres and comes with the practical, no-nonsense interior you'd expect from a proper Defender including three front seats, rear windows, heated rear screen, rear wiper, radio/cassette player and a rubber-lined load area.
I've recently fitted a new front bumper and grille, along with new side steps. The seat pads have also been replaced with genuine Land Rover items.
The paintwork is in good overall condition for its age and presents very well. As expected with a Defender, there are a few small marks and imperfections: a light scratch on the passenger door, a minor blemish on the passenger sill, a small indentation on the offside front wing, and a small touched-in area of corrosion on the nearside rear quarter. There is also some minor ageing to parts of the window frames. Inside, the cabin is clean and tidy with only light wear in the load area and rear door trim.
Mechanically, the vehicle is in very good order with no known faults. It starts, drives and pulls exactly as it should.
It passed its most recent MOT on 19 March 2026 at 79,469 miles with no advisories, and it also had a full service carried out in March at around 79,500 miles.
The Defender comes with the owner's manual and service book.
A genuine, well-kept Td5 Defender 90 that hasn't been heavily modified or abused. It's ready to be enjoyed straight away, whether as a weekend vehicle or a good daily.
