This car is the special edition XJR Portfolio saloon. Produced in 2007, only 250 were made. 100 each for England and the USA and 50 for Japan. It has a 4.2 litre, 400 bhp engine. This car was brought back to the UK in 2021, from Japan, where it had covered only 56,000 miles in 14 years from new. The mileage now is just below 73,000. An average of just 3,842 miles per annum. Automatic, the car has an entire aluminium body, a top speed of 155 mph (electronically controlled) and achieves 0 - 62 mph in 5 seconds. It has rear wheel drive. Jaguar's unique Midnight Pearl is the exterior colour. Ivory leather seats give the car a soft and warm contemporary interior. A facia mounted Touchscreen gives use of the various technology features including Sat Nav, and the entertainment provision: that is a 12 speaker Jaguar Alpine Premium sound system which includes a 320 watt amplifier with subwoofers and a CD changer. The car also has Bluetooth connectivity for in-car mobile phone useage. The vehicle has Servotronic power assistance, electronic traction control and dynamic stability control, dual stage front airbags as safety equipment including chest airbags in the front seats, and side air curtains all round. This is a beautiful motor car. Comfortable and satisfying to drive. Whilst there are some (only slight) defects it continues to catch regular attention and admiring comment. I am selling the car after five years of enjoyable use in favour of a smaller vehicle.
