Description

I have sadly brought myself to advertising my lovely Defender 110. PLEASE READ the list in the pictures of extensive work carried out on this truck. Please see the video attached to the listing or I can send you the link to it if it is not there. This truck benefits from the 2.5 litre TD5 engine and 5 speed manual gearbox - the best combination for modern use, and known to be more reliable than the more modern Transit Puma engines - hence why I chose this in the first place. I bought this Landy in 2023 with 135k miles, and during my ownership it has only covered around 5k miles while I have carried out extensive repairs and restoration work on it. I have now realised that it doesn't get used regularly enough to justify keeping it, hence I would prefer it to go to someone who will get more use out of it. Exact service history is detailed in the list in the images so please do read this, but as an overview of the usual Landrover points: - It has a galvanised rear crossmember fitted, rest of the chassis has been treated properly with rust converter and waxoyl afterwards - it has had some welding carried out and is solid. - The bulkhead is solid, it had one rust hole in the drivers footwell which was cut out and repaired. - The original Turbo was rebuilt this year by Midland Turbos. - The rear differential was replaced last year with an Ashcroft reconditioned one, new prop shafts fitted at the same time. - All terrain tyres are like new. Please read the full list in the pictures! The additional Led lights can be removed very easily if not needed, as can the stickers on the rear door. This is a Landrover Special Vehicles model, originally red, I imagine it was likely ex fire service but unfortunately haven't had the time to find out its true origin. It was originally fitted with air brakes for trailers and an on-board compressor etc, unfortunately this is long gone but there is still a pressure gauge on the dash alluding to its history. This is a private sale with no guarantee or warranty given or implied. I may consider taking in part-exchange another car, 4x4, tractor, trailer, digger or anything with an engine really! It can be viewed by appointment in Sevenoaks, Kent, test drives are subject to me seeing proof of comprehensive insurance cover for you to drive this car, if you don't have insurance I will drive you. No group viewings or dealer boys please, I'd rather keep it than give it away. Any questions please ask! Thanks for reading.
