Reluctantly, I'm selling my beloved MX-5, a car that has brought me an incredible amount of joy over the years, and one I hope will do the same for its next owner. This example has a genuinely special history, having been owned by my mother from new before passing to me, so it has always been kept within the family. It has been well looked after throughout its life, cared for properly rather than just used, and it shows in how it drives. Mechanically, it is in great shape and has been complimented by my trusted mechanic, who speaks volumes about how well it's been maintained. It is low mileage for its age, comes with MOT until January 2027, and has a service history to back up its upkeep. This is a car that has been loved, not neglected. Of course, as with any car of this age, it is not without a few cosmetic imperfections. I want to be completely honest and transparent: Some rust inside the boot near the right-hand side light (the lights themselves are in perfect working order) Minor scuffs on the plastic bumper A very small stone chip on the white roof A slight blemish on the bonnet only visible in certain light and barely noticeable A section of rust on the rear driver's side wheel arch, along with a black mark on the plastic bumper on the same side Central bulb seems intermittent so I have added magnetic ones (see image) Some scuffs on the alloys (lightly touched up but still visible) Passenger door locks but intermittently with the key fob, I manually lock it. Despite these, the car is in very good condition for its age. It is not perfect, and this has been fairly reflected in the price. I've tried to be as honest and upfront as possible, so I kindly ask for serious enquiries only, no time-wasters. This MX-5 would make an amazing car for someone who appreciates driving and wants something fun, engaging, and full of character. With summer ahead, it's the perfect opportunity to enjoy everything this car has to offer just as I have. A much-loved car, but now it's time for it to go to its next chapter.
