I am selling my 1979 Chevrolet Corvette C3 as I am unfortunately moving and will not have space to store this vehicle. I have owned the car for over a year now, and am the second owner in the UK. During my ownership this vehicle has proved faultlessly reliable despite me taking her out for long drives semi often! Originally from Georgia, this vehicle has lived its life in sunshine with a lack of salt and snow, resulting in a very rust free undercarriage with the suspension, chassis and underside components being clean! I have coated the underside with lanoguard for a little extra protection. The car is in overall excellent condition with very few age related marks, has a very clean paintjob underneath a layer of red Centurion paint protection film (acting as a wrap), giving the car a pristine show worthy appearance. What I have done to the vehicle: -Serviced three times in my ownership, this includes brake vacuum filter, fuel filter, oil, oil filter, spark plugs and air filter, as well as tuning of the timing and fuel mixture to ensure she starts and runs perfectly. -Fully rebuilt all 4 brake callipers with new seals and pistons, brake issues are common with these C3s, and I can say with confidence that she does not leak (to my knowledge, I check frequently) -All vacuum lines for the timing, headlights etc have been replaced with high quality hoses ensuring no noticeable leaks. -Suspension components recently greased -Ignition barrel has been replaced -New sump gasket, no oil leaks! -Exterior and Interior has been ceramic coated to protect from oxidation related decay -Distributor cap and ignition system has been rebuilt with majority new components ensuring a reliable clean spark -Underside coated in lanoguard to prevent any corrosion As for the specs? -Standard 5. 7 Litre Small Block V8 with all emissions related equipment removed (no cats, no EGR) -Edelbrock 850cfm carburettor -Edelbrock performer EPS manifold -Edelbrock valve covers The engine will start and run reliably without cutting out even on a very hot day, this is a car that you can jump in and enjoy without worrying about reliability, while the PPF protects the original paintwork underneath from key marks, stone chips etc. This is an honest, clean, reliable classic that I am sad to see go, however as stated I am moving, so require the funds and won't have the space to keep her. I am open to sensible offers!
