Description

Would benefit from some cosmetic work but still running great. Priced for a quick sale. The good: Smooth driving as you'd expect from a 6 cylinder 5-series Gearbox service and rocker gasket replaced last year Rear air suspension bags replaced Sept 2025 Major service in the winter (incl brakes, front tyres) Electric and heated front seats Engine going well and pulls smoothly MOT until November Big and comfortable cruising Tyres all good Two keys ULEZ compliant No engine codes The bad: Scruffy paintwork reflected in price. (I had a quote for 500 for 2 bumper sprays and a proper polish) iDrive doesn't work (hasn't for years) Minor electrical issues to do with the wiring loom that runs through the boot hinge (I had a bunch of these repaired but sometimes you get a notification that a light is out, when it's not) Creaky suspension (goes away with oil in ball joint but eventually returns) Parking sensors not working (related to iDrive) Climate control unpredictable though aircon and heater does work Tyre pressure light comes on and hard to clear as iDrive not working A rear electric window is giving an error code but still works I had oil and coolant leaks fixed in the winter but the engine bay is still a bit dirty. So a number of little issues but the big stuff - engine, gearbox, suspension, is working well. I've been driving it around the country in scruffy comfort for years, including bringing my two children home from the hospital when they were born, but have bought something newer for work so it's time to say goodbye. With a bit of time and energy it could be a pretty smart and reliable luxury car, but I don't have that time... It's ready to drive away. There was a number plate change before I owned it - I think it was a personal plate thing.
