Description
Sought-after MY2007 TF300 limited edition (TF176 of 300) in red with original black custom leather and Alcantara upholstery. MOT until November 2026, c. 82,666 miles. 1 owner from new (bought pre-registered with 1 mile on the clock). Stock spec throughout, no modifications, only Toyota or approved parts installed.
Included:
- Hard top with full kit (brackets/leather booties/demister wiring and a fitted cover with hanging loops)
- Spare set of stock Toyota wheels (the installed wheels are also stock and refinished in gunmetal)
- Spare wheels have a set of Avon ZV7s fitted that are road legal but likely an advisory on MOT
- Spare set of brand-new Toyota MR2 mats. The original mats are still in reasonable condition and ideal for winter use
- TF176 certificate, hand-signed by Shimpei Kobayashi in mint condition. I believe this is quite rare as other sellers have misplaced the certificate.
Paperwork showing important maintenance e.g. Clutch replacement' Oil Sump, etc see below. Original car manual, Map book, Service history etc.
Carefully maintained over the years, including the following work carried out:
2022:
- Parking brake replaced
- New non Toyota mohair soft-top roof fitted
2021:
- Sump pan replaced
2019:
- Shock absorbers and springs (x4) replaced
2017:
- Sub-frame replaced
- Clutch replaced
- Gearbox seals replaced
- Rear brake callipers replaced
There's no rust/corrosion on the bodywork and it had a clean bill of health the last time it was on a ramp - no apparent structural issues underneath.
Pre-cats are installed but haven't been an issue as this is the post-facelift model with the redesigned engine and has had regular oil changes etc.
The interior is very tidy for its age and reflects the limited mileage and care shown to the car. Seats are the custom leather and Alcantara combo.
Rear brake pipes and tyres are advisories on the MOT.
Offside front fog light needs replacing.
The paint is starting to show its age and the bonnet especially - see pictures showing paint condition. Although I drive the car regularly, I don't drive it enough to justify the expense and decided it was time to let someone else enjoy the car.
I'm selling very reluctantly as this has been a superb car that's given me a lot of joy over the years, its been super reliable and great fun. I'm retired, my wife soon to retire also, so we are planning on selling her 12 year old Honda CRV later his year and replace it with a new car either a Toyota or another Honda.
