Selling our Caravelle executive, owned for 12 years as a family car. 2.5tdi 174ps in metallic black. Milage is currently 200224k. Still drives really well. Very comfortable to drive loads of space. Serviced every year when MOT'd. All the spec with a sunroof, child booster seats in both single rear seats. *Developed a small oil leak which when investigated notes a warped rocker cover. *Rear bumper is damaged (but roadworthy and has passed MOT's) I have bought a new bumper which is included in the sale. It just needs painting. *Last weekend the electric sliding door cable snagged so had to be cut in order to close the door. This works fine still under manual use. Soft close still works. I have bought the new cables and pulleys. Again included in the sale. *A rust spot has developed on the tailgate and bottom of sliding door. Neither is that noticeable nor affects the use of either. *The roof lining has started to separate from the roof due to the glue deteriorating. By the sun visors. *Lastly interior Rear panel the leather has peeled off due to the glue deteriorating. I have the piece just needs reattaching. This was due to extreme heat on holiday once, came back to the car and it had just peeled off on the seat. The issues listed above are in fairness cosmetic with a minor oil leak. For the mechanically/competently minded this is an easy fix. Cost quoted for the rocker cover and fitting was 830. Painting and fitting new supplied bumper 350. Less to paint only, and fit myself. Headlining and rear trim was quoted 150. For 1400 ish (if you repair all items) you can keep her driving or turn a profit as we know these vehicles would sell for a lot more. We have travelled through France visiting the south three times. But more regularly the vendee regions so the bulk of milage is due to travelling to France 2-3 times a year for family holidays. Very much still a daily usable vehicle with years still to go. Cleans up very well and looking for a new home. Time for us to upgrade hence the sale.
