This is a lovely example of a Series III Landy. It has been owned and cared for by the current owner for the past 16 years. It was subject to a full rebuild on a Richards galvanised chassis, professionally painted black, in 2018, the vehicle has covered less than 5000 miles since the rebuild. At the same time, a new full wiring harness was installed along with new leaf springs, dampers and all bushings replaced and a new fuel tank. (Mileage: Genuine 50,603 , all MOT certificates present from 1980, confirms this) The full rebuild was sympathetically done to retain the original patina of the vehicle, over a fully refurbished drive train, creating a very useable vehicle. (This could serve as an excellent base for a full "factory fresh" resto should a new owner wish). The vehicle was originally supplied as a soft top, a period correct, hard top and "catflap", was supplied and fitted by Dunsfold shortly before they shut their garage business. Most recently an electronic ignition module was fitted to the distributor along with new ignition leads and a new Weber installed. The front is fitted with the standard 3 seats, with 3 point seat belts for the driver and main passenger, a lap belt could be fitted for the middle seat. The rear has 4 individual, Exmoor Trim, fold away seats, please note there are no lap belts fitted in the rear. Overall, this is an excellent example of a Series 3 which drives beautifully and is ready to roll. The original roof hoops, tilt and a set of bench seats are available, under separate negotiation, should you wish to increase your set up options.
