Description
Ferrari 550 Maranello - Grigio Titanio over Rosso Hide
A beautifully prepared Ferrari 550 Maranello, finished in the highly desirable Grigio Titanio over Rosso leather the now-famous paint colour associated with Bad Boys II and one of the most memorable modern Ferraris on screen.
The 550 Maranello remains one of Ferrari's great modern classics: a front-engined, V12, manual gearbox grand tourer from the Luca di Montezemolo era, when Ferrari combined analogue feel with serious long-distance ability. Elegant, muscular and increasingly appreciated, it represents everything a Maranello-built GT should be.
This particular car has been owned by the current keeper since November 2020 and has been maintained by us at Stewart Roden Motors ever since. With decades of Ferrari experience across road cars and race preparation, we know these cars extremely well, and this example has benefitted from the kind of ownership every specialist hopes to see.
The owner has invested in excess of 35,000 pounds in upkeep, preventative maintenance and presentation, with the clear aim of bringing the car up to a very high standard mechanically, cosmetically and visually.
When the belts were changed in Jan 2026 , the opportunity was taken to refresh the engine bay. The plenums, cam covers, air boxes, oil tanks and internal metal trim pieces were all refinished, resulting in an engine bay that presents as though the car has just rolled out of Maranello. It is a rare thing to see a 550 engine bay prepared to this level.
The interior has also received significant attention. The dashboard, airbag cover and instrument binnacle were removed and professionally refurbished by renowned Scottish trim and interior specialist Transcal, addressing the usual leather shrinkage and bubbling these cars can suffer from. This has made a huge difference to the presentation of the interior.
The work completed in recent years has not been about doing the minimum. It has been about staying ahead of the car, bringing maintenance fully up to date and ensuring that it presents at a level consistent with the best examples on the market.
Offered for sale on behalf of the owner, this is a very well-sorted 550 Maranello with significant mechanical investment, a refreshed interior and an engine bay you could eat your dinner off.
