This car is for sale because I am 87 years old and coming to the end of my motoring career. Having had 27 cars I can honestly say this Honda Legend is the best of all. At 64598 miles it is in amazing condition. The paintwork is first class, the interior leather is pristine and unmarked. Everything works. It will pass any inspection. I bought an identical car new in 1998 from Honda UK and used it to regularly drive to the Algarve for 10 years and it never let me down. My son was so impressed with the car that he bought a very low mileage identical one in 2005. He kept it for 10 years until 2015 having covered 17000 miles when he decided to sell it to buy a sports car. It was in such superb condition that I bought it and sold mine. 11 years later I am now offering it for sale having covered ONLY 9000 miles in 11 years. The current mileage is 64958. The oil has been changed regularly by my son and me and MOT certificates are available to prove the mileage. Repairs have been minimal such as drop links and silencer. The cam belt was replaced 2,500 miles ago just as a precaution. A truly superb motor car that I would be confident to drive the 3000 miles to and from the Algarve. The number plate is not included in the sale because it is exceptionally valuable (it will be placed on retention and offered for sale for 25,000- our family has jokingly called it 1 gin and tonic. A purchaser called Gordon; Graham etc. with a partner called say Teresa; Tricia etc might find the plate an attractive purchase especially with the 1.
