Description
1964 Pull Handle MGB Roadster.
I am the third owner since the car was registered and I purchased it from a private seller in a nearby town to me in 2014/ 15. As an MOT is no longer a legal requirement I haven't taken the car in for a MOT recently. It was last checked over by our local classic car specialist in 2025 and is in excellent running order. A few of things to note; the rear suspension was upgraded prior to my ownership, along with the addition of a stainless steel exhaust and a switch to Maglite wheels. The engine was also replaced with an Ivor Searle prior to my ownership, hence only 5, 759 miles on the clock. I have added electronic ignition to do away with distributor and making starting more predictable! This is a truly beautiful little car that has never let us down. It has always been garaged by me and never run in wet conditions. The previous owner also garaged the car but I have no information regarding its original owner. I'll let the photographs speak for themselves and while there is no rust there are tiny paintwork imperfections, such as repaired stone chips etc. When we take it to the local classic care engineer he always remarks that it runs and looks beautiful and that we should use it every day and never sell it! Unfortunately we aren't getting the use out of it and I want it to go to someone with the time to enjoy it.
