Description
Here's this one in a nutshell, just in case you don't want to read the whole lot:
- Peugeot 208 1.2 PureTech
- YC25 RFY
- Selenium Grey metallic
- 14,515 miles
- 1 owner
- 2 keys
- full service history
In my opinion, the Peugeot 208 doesn’t get anywhere near enough love. And I get it - before you say it, no, it’s not the 205. It’s not going to be sitting in a glass box at a car show in 30 years with someone calling it “iconic.” But also… most cars won’t, so let’s calm down.
What it is, though, is properly good at being a car. It does everything you actually need, and it does it well. It’s compact enough that you’re not having a breakdown every time you try to park in town, but there’s still enough space inside for real-life things - shopping, passengers, whatever chaos you’ve got going on.
So whether it’s a first car, a second car, or just something to get you from A to B without ruining your day, it works.
And look at it - it’s actually a good-looking little thing. This one’s in Selenium Grey metallic, which is basically Peugeot’s way of saying, “we’d like a bit of that Audi Nardo Grey vibe, but without charging you your life savings.” And to be fair… they’ve done a decent job.
Inside, it’s got all the stuff you’d expect - and a bit more. Touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so you can use your maps, Waze, music, and ignore messages in a slightly more advanced way. Climate control, front and rear parking sensors, digital cockpit… all the things that used to be exciting extras and are now just things you’d complain about if they weren’t there.
It’s also still under Peugeot warranty, comes with two keys and service history, so you’re not walking into a situation where you immediately regret your life choices.
So yeah - it might not be a future classic… but it is a genuinely solid, good-looking, easy-to-live-with car. And honestly, that’s probably more useful.
