Description
Purchased from a deceased estate, this project XJS is one that has now been shelved by myself due to a potential house move.
Now registered as an Historic Vehicle (so no MOT or Road Tax required) it starts and runs but has a broken joint in the exhaust which makes it a little noisy, however, the 5.3 'lump' itself sounds very sweet.
I'm guessing it's had new arches and sills at some point and there is now once again some rust appearing on the offside rear arch.
It's painted in the lovely Jaguar Arctic Blue of the 1980's but it's received a very average paint job in the past so it's no show winner, but it does provide a fairly solid base for the resurrection of this old girl.
Viewing is recommended.
A new set of tyres was fitted in 2024 and fluids and oils for servicing are included in the asking price.
PLEASE NOTE : The registration number alone is worth a substantial amount - take a look at similar plates on Reg Transfers site for price comparison.
