Description
Great condition for a 13 year old car!
I've recently clay bar'd , and used Farecla3 to polish out the usual imperfections, then resin coated and finally used Poor Boys dark wax restorer to really bring the beautiful metallic gloss out of the paintwork.
She looks lovely with the red accents on the body she looks a lot more sportier than she really is. Lots of folks ask me if she's a special edition. Other than paint the rear brake drums a nice black, I have done nothing else. Just the serious polish.
She has a really good quality in-built Sat Nav, which, along with the red accents on the outside and inside came as part of the special model she is as well as the really nice and great condition black and silver alloy wheels.
A lot of car and a lot of good looks for the money.
She does not look dated and is full of features and toys.
Bought as a run-about in between company cars she's been much more fun than expected.
No she's not a lightning fast car, she's a 1.2 but she will happily power along at 70+ and give you 58mpg. I recently did 600 miles to Lands End and back and did not hang about and she gave me 61mpg overall.
I mean come on - that's really good for a 1.2 five door car.
She's a Clio, but she's not small. Loads of boot space and foldable rear seat and removable parcel shelf give you loads of room for surf gear.
The rear bumper has a few small marks in the centre so I installed a quality Rear Parking Sensor with audible and visual alarms to help reverse.
I'm used to much bigger cars and I missed the little reversing beeps.
I changed the Oil, Oil filter, Air Filter and in-cabin pollen filters so I know they are clean and fresh. Photos to prove the work.
I also put her on a ramp and checked the front sub-frame and A-frame for rust when changing the oil and oil filter, and found very little surface rust but treated it anyway with a dash of Kurust for preventative measure.
I'm fussy what can I say!
Inside the car she is in excellent condition bar a couple of faint marks on the seats but maybe some elbow grease might sort that out.
I've put new good quality floor mats in and they look great.
Don't expect Mustang style pull-offs, she's a little 1.2 and quite heavy but push her on the revs and she's a lot of fun, especially in 4th gear!
She has a really good audio system with quite bassy speakers!
So come see this awesome looking little Clio and be prepared to have your socks blown off!
Thanks!
