Description
Valued as automatic 5 door; you will find a much cheaper Toyota Aygo if you accept manual or 3 door or higher milage. The Aygo body shape changed just after this was made so most with this shape are older.
Valued as very low tax - almost free - insurance group 3 - high reliablity - common car with parts available - not hard to repair
FAIR CONDITION
Mnor faults:
- no central locking from the passenger door; no remote locking or unlocking
- small scuffs and scratches on the white paint. One has been touched-up.
- the front right alloy wheel is a bit scuffed
- the fibreglass panels don't fit as perfectly and tightly as on a new car but this is hardly noticable
- MOT records show wear to the anti-roll bar, but not excessive, and the metal brake disks worn but not seriously weakened.
- one ignition key, 2 access keys
- from new these cars were buzzier than larger cars on motorways.
HISTORY
/album/OCX2 found me some photos from 2017 of the car with a crushed front bumper and flat tyre, but no structural damage. Rapidcarcheck tells me that it was written off for "damage front end". I can send you download links for these. Nine years later, I would not have guessed without doing the check.
Three owners from new
Reasonable milage between MOTs
Some service history other than MOTs - I have bought various filters, pads, wipers, a big battery, an oil change. The car does not need much maintenance.
OPTIONAL SPEC
Photos show basic trim with just a radio and CD player.
A slim spare wheel came with the car and is still in place.
There's a hidden aftermarket box which, if you use it, allows the access keys to work as ignition keys.
I have a satnav and phone holder that fit very neatly and the same mount would hold a carplay screen if you don't want to build one in. If you do, ads on ebay offer built-in screens for five hundred and videos show how to fit your own.
