Description

Limited edition and very rare Mazda MX5 2.0 Z Sport (LSD) in deep metallic purple with beige/ cream interior and BBS alloy wheels making it one of the best looking and most classic versions made. Recent Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres all round (these are really decent high grip tyres). Always garaged, never driven on winter/ salt roads by me or the previous owner. Genuine reason for sale, in perfect working order, I have 4 cars and this doesn't get a lot of use and I feel someone else will get more joy out of it than me for the time being. This is the 2nd MX5 I've owned, they are brilliant cars, put a huge smile on your face on a windy road, and are highly underestimated by people that spend a lot more on more expensive cars. I have a bluetooth / radio connector that allows me to play music from my phone to the stereo that can stay with the car. Thermostat, a brake caliper, brake lines, tyres and other maintenance done as required. The condition is very good for it's age, there are light scratches on the paint here and there, only noticeable when you get down and look closely, it's not perfect as you can expect but she looks great in the sunshine when you've cleaned it. There is a tiny (very small) chip in the windscreen that has been there since I bought it around 2 years ago. A small rust repair near the 3rd brake light is not perfect, reflected in the price. Has Air conditioning, needs regassing, it never bothered me as I only take it out with the top down. Other than that, she's amazing to drive, very reliable (as are most MX5s) and cheap to run and insure. If you're thinking of buying one of these for the first time, you won't regret it. Make sure you buy a 2.0 sport with an LSD (a lot of early Mk3's didn't have LSD), the other engines are a bit slow, and without an LSD the traction control kicks in all the time (to the point of being annoying). ZSport, Cheaper than a Sport Tech and lighter than the PRHT roof.
