Description
2004 Mitsubishi Airtrek Turbo R - 2.0L 4G63T
If you're looking at this, you probably already know what it is: essentially an Evo 7 GTA.
I have spent a significant amount of time and money getting this car sorted and reliable. The most important job on these auto gearboxes is the wave spring which was replaced at 116,018 miles, along with fresh gearbox oil. The car pulls well, shifts smoothly, and has some sensible upgrades.
Gates Racing timing belt, balance belt, water pump and water pump pulley, tensioner and pulleys recently fitted.
Genuine Evo 8 MR camshafts
Carbon fibre spark plug cover
Brand new radiator, Spal fan and thermostat
New Idle Control Valve (ICV)
Upgraded front caliper brackets to run bigger discs and pads, SS braided lines
Rear pads and one caliper replaced.
Evo 8 10.5 turbo
Turbo Technics true cast iron 3" O2 housing
Upgraded 3" exhaust system (this will need adjusting to route better near the diff but no knocks or bangs)
Owen developments heat shield
Hks intercooler pipes with aftermarket Evo intercooler
Intake pipe and MAF adapter with air filter
Later metal BOV
AEM Wideband gauge fitted
Parts ive brought that need to be fitted alongside a remap
3-port boost solenoid
Upgraded Fuel Pressure Regulator (FPR) and fuel rail adaptor
Walbro 255 pump
Subaru pink injectors
With the above modifications should see around 320bhp.
The car wants for nothing mechanically. All the common Airtrek headaches (cooling, wave spring, timing belt) have already been taken care of.
Viewings are welcome. No large groups, and test drives will be done by me. Ive tried my best to highlight the imperfections in the bodywork. Car is HPI clear.
Still have stock intercooler, turbo, exhuast system, and alloys that will come with the car.
Have the report from auction and a few receipts, sadly didnt recieve anything from the prev owner. Car was imported by JM imports. Currentl mileage is 120k but this is a mix of miles and KMs.
Offers will only be entertained on viewing
