Description

I purchased the car in 2015 from the original owner, an older lady who had owned it from new and maintained it with a full BMW main dealer service history. Since my ownership, servicing and maintenance have been carried out by a BMW specialist. This is an exceptionally honest, largely original example which has clearly been cared for throughout its life. Apart from a braided clutch hose, the car remains unmodified. Shortly after purchase, I also had the VANOS professionally rebuilt and serviced by Mr Vanos. The car had covered approximately 80k miles when I bought it and I have added around 28k miles over the last 11 years. In reality, it has seen very little use recently, only around 700 miles in the last 2.5 years, which is part of the reason for the sale. Mechanically, the car is driving better than ever and has benefitted from significant recent maintenance, including over 2,500 spent at the end of 2025: -Rear subframe bushes replaced with subframe removed -Boot floor inspected at same time with no issues found -All air intake & inlet breather pipes replaced with genuine BMW parts -Front track rod end -AC regas -Full service Additional maintenance carried out during 2024 included: -Gear linkage refresh with new rubber doughnut & spring service kit -New rear shocks -New anti-roll bar links -New tyres -Refurbished wheels by Spit n Polish -Front bumper respray due to age-related stone chipping -Wing mirror corrosion repair and repaint -New bonnet release catch & cable -New boot struts -New AC pipe The boot floor was also inspected at the time of purchase and checked again at the end of 2025 for peace of mind. The car starts, drives and sounds exactly as it should. The engine is strong, the gearbox feels tight, and it still gets attention everywhere it goes. This was always a bucket-list car for me and one I intended to keep long term, which is why I've held onto it for 11 years. It has been enjoyed and used properly rather than hidden away, so naturally there are some age-related marks and stone chips consistent with careful use. Overall, the condition remains very good, with an especially clean interior showing minimal wear. I believe the car is competitively priced against the current Z3 M Coupe market given its condition, originality, ownership history and maintenance record. Depending on when sold, the mileage may increase slightly if the weather is nice enough for the occasional drive.
