Description

A well-presented BMW X1 that drives really nicely and offers excellent value for money. It's metallic grey with alloy wheels and has great bodywork for the age of the vehicle and has a large boot. This engine type is known to provide upwards of 300k problem free miles with regular servicing. This 18d sDrive provides better fuel economy than the 20d and xDrive options and comes with the same reliable 2.0L B47 diesel engine delivering 150 BHP paired with a smooth manual gearbox. On longer journey's it can achieve 55-65+ MPG which is great with fuel prices as high as they are. It's ideal for daily commuting, work/family and long journeys. It's an all-rounder that's comfortable on long journeys and very capable in bad weather. We've had this car for nearly 6 years and are reluctantly selling to downgrade to a suitable car for my daughter to learn to drive in. The car has been regularly serviced and is used daily for commuting via the motorway. The great thing about these cars is that outside of tyre replacements and brake pads they are hassle free and extremely reliable, plus we've recently replaced the front discs and pads. The only bad thing I could say about the X1 model in general is that the steering is a little stiffer than other cars. The MOT expires 22 September 2026 - it will sail through as it always does, thanks for BMW build quality. Externally the body work is good with very little age related marks. Inside is clean and with some upholstery cleaner, the interior could look almost brand new. It's Bluetooth is compatible with all modern smart phones. There are a few minor kerb marks on the alloys, which could be easily restored to new with a refurbishment and this has been reflected in the price. The car has two keys. There's a BMW no cost recall that's just been announced, and so I've booked into Synter BMW to get the sensor replaced. If you were to purchase this before this appointment you can take it to your local dealer free of charge, and they'll also valet the car free for you (well Synter does anyway). Viewings welcome.
