Description

The car is a category N (non-structural) write-off. I bought the car in March 2023 from a dealer who had bought it after an offside impact which had damaged both doors but not touched the chassis. He found two doors of the exact same orange colour and fitted them and hence there was no need for any respray work. The low price I'm asking is on account of this cat N status. The last few photos show the scratches and stone chips it has suffered since I got the car, sorry. Otherwise the car is very tidy. The very last photo shows the damaged lock button (the little black rubber piece on the handle) which doesn't work. This means that you have to use the unlock button on the key to unlock the door rather than relying on the proximity sensor, or you can ask your passenger (if you have one) to press the unlock button on their door handle and then you can both get in without touching the key! It has 2 keys. The car has been serviced regularly whenever the SERVICE indicator comes on by a local mechanic, you can have the service history to see what work has been done. It is going in for its next service tomorrow, 21st April. It had new front tyres for its MOT in December. The main reason for buying a Renault Captur was for the high sitting position which means you don't have to haul yourself up when getting out, or drop down into a "bucket seat" when getting in. If you have mobility problems (my wife and I are getting old) this is a real plus. We've done a happy 25,000 miles since we bought the car 3 years ago but now we've decided it's time to get an electric car and hence the sale.
