Description
BMW 5 Series M Sport | 2016 (66 Plate)
Well looked after BMW 5 Series M Sport in good condition for its age, inside and out. Purchased from Car Giant at 70,000 miles, with the majority of mileage since being motorway miles, so the car has mainly had easy long-distance use rather than short stop-start journeys.
The car drives extremely well smooth, powerful and reliable and genuinely feels like it has plenty of life left in it. With regular servicing, these engines are built to last and I'd confidently say it has many years/miles ahead.
A nice added extra is the retrofitted ambient interior LED lighting around the doors, giving the cabin a much more premium feel, especially at night.
Selling only due to relocating abroad, otherwise I wouldn't be selling.
Honest points / priced accordingly:
* Handbrake warning ("partially available") is showing, however both the handbrake and auto-hold work perfectly with no issues. Control module was replaced and mechanic advised it likely just needs an error code reset.
* Drivetrain warning appears intermittently but has no impact on performance or drivability. Mechanic advised this is likely due to replacement fuel and drive control modules not being original BMW parts.
* If a buyer wishes to replace the modules for complete peace of mind, they are approximately 150 each (around 300 total for both). This has been reflected in the asking price.
* Important to note: these do not need replacing if you're happy to drive the car as it is, as it drives perfectly fine.
* Small scratch to rear bumper (shown in photos).
Overall, a solid, reliable and well-maintained BMW 5 Series M Sport that drives exactly as it should, with honest pricing reflecting the minor dashboard warnings.
