Original 2005 Land Rover Defender XS - Santorini Black - Exceptionally Well Maintained This is a fantastic Land Rover Defender XS edition in Santorini Black on 127,000 miles. This vehicle has been exceptionally well looked after and maintained properly throughout my ownership, with all work carried out to the highest standard, using genuine parts where possible, with an aim to keep it as original as possible. XS edition, so this Defender includes: - Heated front windscreen - Heated seats - Aircon - Leather trimmed interior - Electric windows - Central locking and immobiliser The vehicle drives exceptionally well , exactly how a well looked after Defender should. It's been recently fitted with two new rear driveshafts, and had rear brakes serviced, along with all other maintenance completed as required over the years to keep it in excellent mechanical condition - receipts all retained for historical records. It has an annual service and the underside is inspected and has a Lanoguard treatment to protect the chassis. The evidence of the care can be seen on its solid MOT history. It has been used as a everyday car and never off-roaded, and it's only being sold (to my disappointment!) due to needing a bigger family car. It's fitted with a towball and working electrics, and on occasion it's pulled a trailer to a campsite. There are a few age-related marks as expected for a vehicle of this type and age, but nothing out of the ordinary and all in keeping with an honest, used Defender. The rear seating setup is unique to this Defender - an Exmoor Trim fold-up, front-facing rear seat has been fitted on one side, allowing a child seat to be used. The original fold-down seat configuration is retained on the left hand side, and can also be refitted on the right (with the removed trim pieces) upon sale if preferred. A genuine, well-maintained Defender that has been properly cared for and is ready to be proudly enjoyed by its next owner.
