Description
Looking for an adventure? Perhaps a new project? Look no further!
After nine awesome years, I am finally selling my faithful Jeep Blodwyn.
Reason? I am working abroad soon, and she's getting a bit old so I don't think I can bring her across the pond....
I'm not gonna beat around the bush; she has a scratch or two and a dent, but I just think this gives her more character! At the end of the day, this vehicle is a 4x4 and did exactly what she was meant to do. Long drives on the motorway and the odd adventure! I work in forestry and used to have a VW polo which got stuck on the slightest bit of wet grass or mud, so I needed a change....
Yearly camping trips to the Highlands and Wales, come rain, mud or snow, Blodwyn never failed to get me home. This is a front wheel drive car *with* a 4 wheel drive high toggle for mud/snow. And with decent all terrain tyres, and some care - she will go almost anywhere (with some common sense!) Please note - good A/T tyres but need replacing in near future.
Serviced without fail every year - I have most of the history. Equipped with a decent 2.2L Mercedes diesel engine, she achieves around 45mpg or so when Motorway cruising. As for power, I had her retuned years ago for a conservative increase in BHP/Torque. From 160 to 200BHP, she really shifts at mid and high speed and is a beast going up hills. I haven't towed but she can pull two tonnes.
Features - old school bluetooth which can be slow but always works unlike some crappy modern cars, a dashboard compass I find handy, USB/AUX, cigarette lighter, cruise control which is simple and great for long motorway trips, super comfortable fabric seats, tinted rear windows, reverse park sensors and great Air Con I have never had to regas!
Car has had all stickers removed, been recently washed, vacuumed, and all interior trim and seats cleaned. There do exist some physical scuffs to interior plastic mainly in the boot and some stubborn marks on the interior roof.
Not sure what else to mention! Granted, this is an old Jeep Patriot but I have looked after her and replaced suspension parts (including rear subframe not too long ago) when needed to. Given the age of the vehicle, there are a few quirks which I am happy to discuss if you are interested.
Please note: Jeep can intermittently overheat. Has been checked by a garage with no fault found. Happy to discuss further.
MOT valid till April 2027.
Looking for a fairly quick sale within the next month. Open to serious offers.
