Description
It's great fun on the road with positive steering and a low centre of gravity giving fantastic grip along with plenty of power. It also looks great with its combination of cream upholstery, black metallic paintwork and shiny alloys.
A real plus is the reliable N18 engine which replaced the infamous N14 version in 2011. The earlier Cooper S models, up to 2010, have earned a reputation for expensive engine problems, the main issues being with timing chains, coking and fuel pump failures. The "Death rattle" if heard from the timing chain on cold starting means a particularly serious and expensive engine problem.
With only 2 owners and a full service history it's been properly maintained and runs well. 4 good chrome alloys with new run flats.
I'm selling to replace it with a 2.0L JCW convertible
