Hello and thank you for viewing this listing. After much deliberation I have decided to advertise my Saab HOT Aero estate. The car has covered 132,500 miles since new and was bought as a secondary vehicle during the pandemic to help transport my frail Father at the time. The honest truth is that I have been quite reluctant to sell it as it's something I have become quite attached to as time has went on, however due to personal circumstances I have decided to make an attempt. The car does have cosmetic age related issues - the paintwork is by no means perfect as the bonnet and roof have lacquer peel due to stone chips and general age. However, the paint work is completely original and this was something I was actually happy to address at some stage as the car has had such an impact on me. Mechanically the car is 99% perfect. I have invested a considerable amount of money over the last few years that was to see it through the long term. In the last 3 years alone I have spent in excess of 5,000 on maintenance and replacement parts, and the majority of work has been undertaken by Central Saab Specialists in Bonnyrigg. Some of the work that has been done is as follows: Full major service and sump drop/clean when bought and a subsequent service later on; Full underseal treatment (condition of the underside was noted as being excellent); Full gearbox service; Full stainless steel exhaust system and a special catalytic converter; New rear springs; Heated seat elements replaced (both driver and passenger); Larger brakes and new calipers on the front; 4 x new Michelin Cross Climate tyres; Privacy glass - this has been added since the photographs were taken. The specification of this car is quite substantial. I have noted just some of the main features it has: Full Aero package - special body styling and alloy wheels along with ample performance when desired; Nocturne Blue metallic paint with a full beige leather interior; Electric, heated and air-conditioned front seats; Heated rear seats; Satellite navigation; Excellent audio system and CD changer; Climate control air conditioning; Wood and leather steering wheel; Paddle shift buttons on the steering wheel; Electric glass sunroof; Rear parking sensors; Bi-Xenon headlights; Original rubber Saab mats and boot liner. The car is also ULEZ compliant and is actually a 2004 model year (registered Christmas Eve of 2003). It has covered less than 2,000 miles since July 2022 when purchased and it will be missed.
