Description

Delightful and (possibly) the most reliable French car in the world? Selling my wonderful 23 yr old Peugeot 206 SW. 1.4L Petrol (ULEZ!) engine. A lovely little car that has done well by me for almost 10 years! I've learnt to drive and moved house in this car 3 times, bless. Obviously, it's a 23 year old car, and there are some issues with it, I've listed what I can below, but happy to go into each and every detail with potential buyers when viewing The GOOD: - 5 seats (all functioning), large boot, rear seats fold flat for extra cargo space if needed - Smaller hatch within boot for easy access - Functioning roof racks - Aftermarket stereo with Bluetooth and phone connection - 2x sets of keys with central locking - MOT until 4 January 2027, road tax around 270 a year. - Smooth driving and a really fun characterful little car. Despite being a French Peugeot! The UGLY: - Windscreen washer nozzles don't want to play ball. I had the pump replaced in December with its MOT, but the nozzles have since started playing up again, and I'm really not sure why. - The clutch will likely need some attention soon, it's definitely higher than ideal, and might need to be replaced honestly. Repairs have never been too expensive for anything on this car (part of its charm!) but I haven't looked into the cost for this. - A few bumps and scrapes, and a piece of trim missing from the roof rack (though still fully functional) - sorry! This is on me. I bumped it a bit when learning to drive. Though there's no sign of rust anywhere on the car to my knowledge (even underneath!), and has never been flagged in an MOT to me as rusty anywhere. - The service history is. Limited. My partner worked on the car when it needed it, and to be honest, the one time I got it serviced at a garage, 3 things broke afterwards, so I swore off garage services after that. - Main boot struts need to be replaced on one side, currently doesn't hold the larger boot door open. I haven't replaced this due to using the smaller boot door, so haven't found it to be too much of an issue in my personal use.
