This little car is affectionately named "Blue Sparkle" unfortunately Blue Sparkle is not going to be passing his upcoming MOT in October due to rust penetrating his rear left & right undercarriage seals (this will cost a lot of money to get fixed and will require welding of sorts). When he hits a puddle for the next few days you will see an engine light (Yellow/Orange) on the dashboard with electrical faults ranging from "P0597 - Thermostat Heater Control Circuit/Open" to "P0122 - Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "A" Circuit Low" basically if you avoid puddles (hard to do in the UK) you wont get water in the system and you wont get these errors. In my attempt to diagnose the car our mechanic found the rotten seals and the price to fix was more than the value of the car. Getting parts for this baby is hard as its made by Americans who have pulled out of the parts making side of things in the UK for some time now. If you have a Spark and want to keep it going this cars parts could keep yours going for just that little bit longer. Recently Replaced the brakes (details to follow) Recently installed a hardcore clutch pedal (old one snapped) this ones solid metal and cost an arm and a leg to install. Cheap road tax *Dog & Baby had only spent limited time in the car (one or two rides together at most) so not going to be "full" of dog fluff but there will be "some" on the backseat.
