I've owned this 2008 Lexus RX400h SE for the past two years, and it has been completely trouble-free throughout my time with it. It's one of those cars that quietly gets on with life smooth, reliable and incredibly comfortable, exactly what Lexus hybrids are known for. The moment you close the door it feels solid, refined and built to last. Powered by Lexus' proven hybrid system and automatic gearbox, it offers an excellent balance of performance and economy. It accelerates effortlessly with instant electric torque, and despite its size I average around 34 mpg, especially around town where it can run on electric power at low speeds. When you need it, the rear electric motor gives a surprising burst of pace for a vehicle of this size. On the road, it genuinely drives like a luxury barge, gliding over potholes and bumps with soft, cushioned suspension ideal for anyone who values comfort or suffers from back issues. It comes with full service history, and a clean HPI report. The bodywork is in fantastic condition for its age, with only minor age related marks as expected on an 18 year old car. You'll also get two original Lexus handbooks containing all manuals and service receipts. The car comes with two keys one fully working, and one with a new transponder fitted that just needs coding (a simple, inexpensive job). Please note: the private plate is not included. The original registration AV08 DZZ has been reassigned and the private plate placed on retention. A new V5 has been applied for, so there may be a short wait, but I'll keep you updated.
