Selling my W212 facelift AMG coupe, in a rare gold colour and powered by the bulletproof 3.0L OM642 V6 diesel engine and a 7-speed automatic gearbox. This is a proper GT coupe, with a massive 600 N*M of torque, it effortlessly cruises at 70 mph in complete quiet at almost idle RPM. I've owned the car since 2024, having bought it from a long-term owner, and I've used it mainly for long motorway trips where it comfortably achieves over 50 MPG. In my view, this is the last generation of properly built Mercedes before the quality changed. The interior is beautiful and cosy spaces to be in, featuring real dials, accents from real metal, and an electric panoramic sunroof that can be fully opened. It's also surprisingly practical - the rear seats fold flat to create a massive space. I've even managed to carry a 2.4m tall IKEA wardrobe in there. Mechanically, it has no issues at all. I have had it serviced every 5K - 7K miles using only OEM parts and oil, and I have the invoices to show for it, same for the previous 2 owners before me. The last service was done in April 2026 at 95,000 miles, and I had the gearbox oil changed at 80K miles. The bodywork is almost unmarked, though there are a few small stone chips on the bonnet from its time on the motorway, and the interior is in perfect condition with no marks or rips in the leather. It sits on Uniroyal Rainsport 5 front tyres and Firestone Roadhawk rears, all put during my ownership with plenty of thread left. It is ULEZ compliant and costs only 225 a year to tax, which is likely the lowest you'll find for a 3L V6 diesel of that era.
