2012 VW Golf GTD 170 Selling due to recently purchasing an estate car as we now have 3 young children along with bikes, scooters etc. As much as I love the car, it's no longer practical for us. I've owned the car for almost 2 years and it has been an excellent, reliable car throughout my ownership. Around 8 weeks ago it had a full clutch kit fitted including dual mass flywheel and slave cylinder (receipt to show). The slave cylinder failed causing the clutch pedal to drop to the floor, so while everything was apart I had the full setup replaced properly to avoid any future flywheel issues. Cost around 900 including labour. The car is currently on around 138k miles. I purchased it on roughly 120k and the majority of my mileage has been motorway driving. Never had any DPF issues and the car drives exactly as it should. Full service history, with the last recorded service carried out at 127k in February 2025. Cambelt was completed at 90k. For the age and mileage it is a very tidy example. Obviously there are a few age-related marks as expected, but no poor repairs, mismatched paint or anything untoward. HPI clear. Runs and drives superbly: No smoke No knocks or bangs Pulls exceptionally well Smooth gearbox and clutch Drives tight and solid I've owned several diesel Golfs over the years and specifically searched for a good example when buying this one. I particularly wanted this spec with: LED rear lights Full leather interior 18" Charleston alloys Metallic Carbon Grey (Best Colour) Previous owner had the car for over 4 years and originally purchased it from a main dealer. Priced to sell - cheaper than equivalent GTDs currently advertised, especially considering the recent clutch and flywheel work. Already purchased another vehicle so no PX, sorry.
