Description

Up for sale is a remarkably clean, highly striking 1996 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV. If you are looking at this, you already know how difficult it is to find a fresh, solid Evo IV in the UK today. This car was personally imported in 2022, meaning it spent the vast majority of its life away from harsh, salted UK winter roads. I have been the sole owner and keeper since it arrived in the country. It features an iconic, head-turning classic WRC Ralliart-inspired livery that pays homage to the golden era of rally. Underneath the decals, you will find an exceptionally honest, structurally brilliant example of JDM history. Key Highlights & Specifications Rust-Free:The chassis, arches, and underbody are exceptionally clean and free from the typical rust issues that plague UK cars. Mostly Stock: Aside from an exhaust system that gives the 4G63 engine a beautifully subtle, authentic rumble, the car remains entirely stock. Upgraded Interior: Fitted with a pair of genuine Recaro SR6 front seats which are in fantastic condition (easily 90% new) with minimal wear, offering excellent support and a fresh cabin feel. Mechanical Condition: The engine pulls flawlessly, the turbo spools exactly as it should, and the iconic AWD system handles beautifully. It has received regular check-ups, fresh fluids, and routine servicing during my ownership. Documentation: Comes with all relevant import paperwork and UK service history . Honest Areas to Note I believe in absolute transparency so nobody's time is wasted. This is a 30-year-old classic performance car, so there are a couple of minor cosmetic and electrical points to flag: LHS Passenger Door Lock: There is a minor mechanical glitch with the central locking on the front left passenger door. It currently needs to be locked and unlocked manually from the inside. Alloy Wheels: There is some slight, minor kerbing on the driver-side and rear right passenger-side alloy wheels. They are still perfectly straight and presentable, but a refurbishment would make them flawless. Paint: some minor paint chips and cracks due to old age Reason for Sale This is an incredibly reluctant sale. Due to a recent change in personal priorities and lifestyle commitments, I simply no longer have the time to drive, maintain, and enjoy this car as much as it truly deserves. I would love to see it go to an enthusiast who will appreciate its history and keep turning heads on the weekend.
