Description
Our Overfinch Range Rover Sport has been a truly loved family car and one we are finding very hard to let go of. Purchased new in 2016, for my wife to shop and visit friends, this was a very high-specification example with a total cost of around 120,000 when new, including our family-name specification on the door frame, which can of course be changed for the new owner.
The car has been cared for throughout its life by Aylmers in Brookmans Park, and although we are missing a small part of the service history, we can happily put prospective buyers in touch with the owner/workshop directly regarding the maintenance and care it has received.
Mechanically, the car has been excellent for us. The only notable issue was a corroded roof drain tube, which was professionally stripped out and replaced. This unfortunately damaged the amplifier at the time, which we also replaced. Aside from that, the car has been remarkably reliable and a joy to own.
Cosmetically, there are a few age-related marks as expected after nearly 10 years a small dent on the driver's door, some scuffing around the passenger-side rear wheel arch, and a repair around the driver's fog light area but overall the car still presents beautifully and continues to turn heads everywhere it goes.
And it really does get attention. We previously had the private plate "101 RED" on the car, and trust me, people notice it. It genuinely causes a stir and always makes you smile. A few years ago we attended a high performance car show with Ferrari, Porsche and Lamborghini's etc, and as we arrived the photographers all rushed over assuming we were part of the display!
The only reason for sale is that my wife now finds the car too large and has decided to move to a Mini Countryman instead.
A very special and well-loved example that still feels incredibly unique today.
