I have driven this van from new and it has been maintained regardless of cost. Aside from regular servicing it has recently had new Brembo discs, pads,calipers & handbrake cables renewed so the brakes are in very good order. The suspension has also been renewed completely using Koni Active struts & dampers with new springs, bushes, strut tops & drop links bushes replaced so the ride is really nice like when it was new. Last November on a trip to Scotland the engine started to boil up and the only solution was to have a Genuine VW supplied new engine fitted. This also included a new clutch, dual mass flywheel, injectors & lines, radiator etc ! At a cost of 11k. The van has a Pioneer multi media player fitted, with apple carplay & a subwoofer under the back seats and also a dash cam. Would be a great base for a camper conversion or day van.
