Selling my 2007 mini cooper r56. Have had the car for a couple years now, was originally planning on keeping it long term but now have need of something bigger so unfortunately it's time to sell. Since buying the mini I have updated and replace the common issue areas with these older minis and it now drives beautifully and mostly just has age related marks here and there. Only real issue is a minor oil leak it's had from a pump seal for a couple years that's so minor the garage have told me not to worry about it. Since buying it the new parts I've put on are: 4 new all season tyres. New catalytic converter. New O2 and lambda sensors. New wiper blades. New throttle body. New thermostat housing. Replaced all ignition coils and spark plugs. Few union jack extras added inside like on the steering wheel and back latch on seats and boot cover. Have given it 2 services a year, winter and summer. I always use premium petrel from BP or shell, use castrol edge 5w30 ll oil and rain ex wiper fluid as well as halfway between services using petrol cleaner additive when topping up. Probably overkill for the age of the car but I wanted to make it last as long as possible ideally. Car comes with full extensive service history, dating back for years even before I owned it. Also comes with 2 keys. Ulez compliant, good fuel efficiency and low insurance. As said its a reluctant sale and I'm not in a huge rush but I am open to sensible offers, but minis are always in demand so please no silly offers. Hopefully you'll enjoy the car as much as I have.
