Reliable and practical Toyota RAV4 XT-R D-4D (2007). This 4WD SUV has been used as a dependable daily workhorse and has a very long MOT until November 2026 (with partial service history). It isn't a showroom piece, but it is an honest, tough car that starts and drives fine. The Honest Details (Mechanical & Maintenance) The Glow Plug: Last year, a mobile mechanic replaced three of the glow plugs as the fourth one snapped during removal. Because the car still starts perfectly first time and drives with absolutely no issues, I didn't bother having it drilled out and retapped. Recent Parts: It received a brand new battery last year and new handbrake cables. Brakes & Tyres: The brake discs and pads are in good condition. All four tyres were replaced at the same time, have excellent tread, and still look almost new. Condition & Features Exterior: The bodywork is in good condition. There are standard stone chips on the bonnet and various light scratches in the paint, though none are really noticeable from 6ft away.
