BMW 525d SE Auto - Spares or Repair - ULEZ Please don't call without having read the advert. It's a waste of your time and mine. Private plate not included. Car will go back onto original registration NA02 OKB. 2002 BMW E39 525d SE automatic finished in black. ULEZ compliant and ideal for London use. 208k on shell Replacement engine fitted from roughly 100k donor car. Barely covered around 250 miles since engine swap/work!!!! Runs, starts, stops, steers and drives!!!! Black car with sunroof, M Parallel style wheels, front splitter and aftermarket Android stereo. EGR delete and swirl flaps deleted. Back box done so sounds nice without being excessive. Remapped and great on fuel 40-50mpg without trying. Recent work includes: * New rear discs * New rear pads * New handbrake setup All done less than 50 miles ago. Good points: * ULEZ compliant * Starts first time * Drives * Solid underneath from what I've seen * Previously repaired underneath to a great standard * Good tyres * Nice spec overall * Black/sunroof cars seem to be getting harder to find Bad points / known faults: Big one: * Coilovers/shocks collapsed after adjustment. Koni setup currently fitted. Could be a quick fix. Car is currently slammed and uneven all round. Minor stuff in the spirit of honesty: * Slight hunting when cold, believed to be map related * Slight smoke under heavy acceleration - remap related * Chipped windscreen * Sunroof not working - quick fix * One rust patch on boot - only visible when boot open * Rear undertray currently in boot not fitted * PDC sensors want checking/replacing after engine swap - were working before * Wheels could do with refurb/polish * Spare key works but is taped together Overall it still feels like a decent car and probably worth saving to the right person, I just don't love it enough anymore to keep throwing time at it.
