Description

Ferrari 360 Spider Manual, first supplied by Maranello Concessionaires in May 2003 and finished in Rosso Corsa over Crema hide. This is a particularly striking example, fitted with a Challenge Stradale-style specification comprising front and rear bumpers, side skirts and wheels. Ferrari never produced a 360 Challenge Stradale Spider, but this car gives a very convincing impression of what such a model might have looked like had Maranello chosen to build one. The quality of the conversion is worth noting. Challenge Stradale-style cars can sometimes suffer from poor alignment or uneven panel gaps, but the kit on this car fits exceptionally well and presents as if the car left the factory this way. The original bumpers, side skirts and wheels are available with the car, allowing the next owner to return it to its original factory form if desired. The car is also fitted with a highly sought-after Capristo exhaust system, a well-regarded and expensive upgrade on the 360. With the roof down and the throttle open, it gives the car the sort of sound that makes a manual, open-top Ferrari feel genuinely special. This 360 Spider has been known to Stewart Roden Motors since 2019 and has remained under our care through its last two owners. Its history file is comprehensive, with detailed invoices dating back to the early years of the car. Early maintenance was carried out by JCT600 Ferrari Leeds, followed by PK Supercars in Edinburgh, before the car came into our care from 2019 onwards. The service record is consistent, with maintenance carried out almost every year and supported by the accompanying invoice file. Most recently, the car has had its timing belts completed this year, along with a full service and thorough inspection by ourselves. The bodywork presents very well, the engine bay is exceptional, and the Crema interior shows very little wear. The switchgear also presents very nicely, which is a notable detail on any Ferrari of this era. With just three former keepers, known long-term specialist care, strong history, excellent presentation, open-gate manual gearbox, Capristo exhaust system and a distinctive Challenge Stradale-inspired specification, this is a high-quality and carefully prepared example of the 360 Spider. Viewing strictly by appointment @ Stewart Roden Motors - West of Edinburgh Finance available through Charles & Dean. Private registration plate to be removed prior to sale.
