This Mini has been cherished and carefully kept throughout its life. The current keeper has owned it since May 2024, before that it was with a keeper from 01 September 2022, and prior to that since 2013.
A restoration was carried out around 2010 to 2013. The car was taken off the road, repainted, and given a range of cosmetic and mechanical repairs as required. New seats were fitted at this stage too, completing a thorough refresh. It was then purchased by a collector in early 2013 as a gift for his wife.
Thereafter the car was used only sparingly, covering around 600 miles over the next 9 years. It was taken to shows, enjoyed as a weekend car, and of course made its annual trips to the MOT station.
The vehicle has been serviced and maintained throughout this time and has benefited from a number of new parts, including a brake master cylinder to repair a fluid leak and a halogen headlight conversion to improve low light visibility. Several cosmetic upgrades have also been applied, such as the 13 inch wooden Moto-Lita steering wheel with chrome steering boss, a Wood and Pickett chrome number plate lamp holder, chrome wing mirrors and interior mirror, and a set of 12 inch Revolution alloy wheels wearing premium Yokohama tyres all round.
Moving on to recent history, since being with the current owner it has further benefited from the following:
Engine refresh, including fresh paint in November 2025
Refurbished carburettor
New Hi-Lo suspension kit
Kayaba self adjusting gas shocks
New piston set
Metal roof rack
The only reason for the sale is purely down to how little its used nowdays. The only time it's out of the garage is the occasional visit to a National Trust place on dry days. Being a 32 year old car, there's a few blemishes here and there but overall, it's a spectatular mini that gets a lot of attention.
