BMW 520D - Euro 6, ULEZ Free - Smooth, Well-Maintained Example Reluctant sale of our fantastic BMW 520D. This has been a very reliable and well-maintained car for us over the last few years. Mainly used by my dad (60+) for daily commuting and occasional long-distance journeys, the car has always been driven sensibly and maintained properly. The car drives beautifully smooth, comfortable, refined, and surprisingly quick when switched into Sport Mode. It has never let us down and still feels excellent on the road. We've recently purchased a 7-seater plug-in hybrid, so we no longer need multiple cars and are also paying additional parking costs for extra vehicles. Because of this, we are looking for a quick and straightforward sale. There is a minor cosmetic dent on the front bumper from late 2023, but nothing major and does not affect the drive in any way. Timing Chain: We recently had the car inspected regarding the timing chain. The mechanic advised that the engine sounds extremely smooth and shows no signs of timing chain issues. Based on its condition, they suspect the timing chain may already have been replaced previously by an earlier owner.
