Rear Bumper & UMS warning: In October 2022, the car had a very low-speed bump reversing onto our driveway. There is a crack on the lower left side of the rear bumper, a small crack on the left side, and the lower silver metal trim piece is missing (see photos). This is purely cosmetic and it easily passed its last MOT exactly as it is. Please Note: Because of this bump, the car shows a "UMS (Rear) Service Required" warning on the dashboard for a few seconds when you turn the car on. This simply means the Ultrasonic Misacceleration safety system has disabled itself due to the bumper damage. However, the standard rear parking sensors still work perfectly and beep exactly as they should when reversing. Mechanically, the car drives flawlessly, the hybrid system transitions smoothly, and it has been a brilliant workhorse for us.
