Considering the mileage this is a lovely motor, and providing it is looked after, is ready for plenty more miles. Having sold my MG 5 on Autotrader much quicker than anticipated I bought the Polo as a stop gap measure and I am glad I did. It runs really well especially since I had the manifold renewed. The local mechanic gave the car a thorough examination and found it to be in very good shape. It has clearly been well maintained by a Wirksworth resident who owned it for over ten years. The underside is in good condition, mechanically sound and very economical. The bodywork shows its age a little, there are a few scratches, marks and a small wheel arch dent but otherwise it is in pretty good order. The interior is very good with just one scratch on the passenger side of the dash. Apart from the reversing warning beepers not working I am unaware of any significant faults. I have only used the car locally except one longer trip to Milton Keynes when at a steady 65mph it behaved perfectly. The Polo would be an excellent 'first car' or for local use. If you are looking for an inexpensive but tidy and reliable motor you would not be wasting your time viewing the car and, of course, examining it. I have nothing to hide and neither does the car.
