Description
For sale is my 2015 Seat Leon X-Perience. Used daily for both work and personal adventures across Scotland! Most of my miles are on the motorway where the car easily returns 50+ mpg (500-600 mile fuel tank) on a regular basis and has been cheap to run, despite the current fuel prices, and well maintained.
Recent notable adventures include tent boxing on the north coast and in the cairngorms (see photos). I will include the Thule roof bars with the sale so the next owner can use the car properly as I have.
The car has been very regularly cleaned throughout winters and summers to prevent salt and grime build up and will be fully valeted before buyer pick up.
The car runs perfectly, pulls well and has never let me down with the milage fairly low for a 11 year old car. There are a few minor cosmetic blemishes, to be expected with a well used car of this age, including a small scratch on the front right quarter, a stone chip on the rear left door, and scratches on the rear bumper lip (presumably from the previous owner's dog!).
I'm currently running 20mm spacers on the front and rear wheels which have improved the cars aesthetic compared to the stock setup. I still have the original chrome Seat badges front and rear which can be put back in place of the black ones if preferred. Otherwise this car is totally standard. I had the wheels realigned after fitting the spacers and tire wear is completely even across front, rears and left and right. Current tires are Michelin Primacy 4s (fronts) and Michelin Primacy 5s (rears) all with plenty of tread left in them.
The car has 9x service stamps over its 10/11 year life and it has just had a full service by Seat in May 2026.
Other notable work done during my ownership (all paperwork & receipts):
- Cambelt @90k miles
- Propshaft & joint replaced @90k miles
- Heater matrix & radiator replaced @90k miles
- Bosch battery Jan 2025
- Wheel spacers & Wheel alignment
- Regular services with Arnold Clark Seat
- Haldex oil change @91k miles
- Dpf sensor and wiring replaced
- Brake fluid @ 91k miles
- Wheel arch liners & undertrays replaced
- Boot cover latch replaced (common problem with Leon estate's)
Overall the car is a well maintained, cheap to run, regularly used and adaptable car with the ability to complete daily tasks, cruise comfortably on the motorway and go off road. It's been a joy to own and is looking for a new home, I am only selling it as I now fancy another estate car but something a little sportier.
